On 21 March 2026, London hosted something that felt genuinely different. The Business Network Albania Economic Conference was not simply another networking event or business gathering. It felt like a moment of real significance for the Albanian community in the UK and beyond. From the very start, there was a sense that people had come together not only to exchange ideas, but to build something more lasting.
The energy in the room was difficult to ignore. As Emir Allen reflected afterwards, this was more than a conference. Founders, professionals, diplomats, entrepreneurs, and business leaders from across the UK and Europe came together under one roof with a shared sense of direction. That made the event feel more meaningful than many business conferences do. It was not only about who was speaking on stage. It was also about what was happening between the sessions, in the networking areas, coffee breaks, and in the many conversations that carried real substance.
Huge Kudos to Hudi Shehu and the whole BNA team.

I have been lucky to meet Hudi at some point between 2015-2016. Back then he used to run Memaliaj News, a news portal which he run very diligently for a long period. He was so young and so bright. I never believed him about his age until we had a coffee in Tirana. Although he's younger, he's drive, calmness and sense of leadership is impressive and inspiring.
Our team Daniel Nikolla, Malvin Nikolla and Glen Vorpsi were in attendance alongside our colleagues from BES Accountancy, Besnik Vata and Graal Structural Engineering, Arber Begaj and several volunteers.
The speaker lineup also helped shape that atmosphere. There was a strong mix of ambassadors, founders, academics, and professionals, which gave the programme both weight and variety. It meant the conversations were not limited to one sector or one kind of business experience. Instead, the event reflected the diversity of the Albanian professional community itself. We were delighted to share the room with Uran Ferizi, Ilir Kapiti, Russell Dalgleish, Adelajda Roka, Aneida Bajraktari, Xhevat Lita, Arta Ramaj, Ella Hoxha, Evisa Kekezi, Andi Hoxhaj, Arsim Shillova, Irgen Kini, Ulpian Morina, Lorik Mullaademi, Alban Bala, Klea Huta, Blerta Bajrami
That is one of the strongest things Business Network Albania achieved in London. It created a room that felt ambitious, and forward-looking all at once.
Our Involvement as Merx Marketing
For us at Merx Marketing, this event was important on several levels. We were proud not only to attend, but to contribute in a meaningful and practical way. Rather than showing up in just one capacity, we wanted to support the event across multiple touchpoints and help create an experience that felt professional, welcoming, and memorable.
Our team was involved in delivering a significant part of the event’s visual presence. Together with Allsee Technologies, we supported the conference with digital signage solutions, including the large digital display in the centre of the stage and additional screens placed around the venue. We also helped provide the physical signage elements, including the branded side structures that framed the stage environment and helped shape the event visually from the moment guests entered the room.
For us, this mattered because branding at an event is never just decoration. It helps shape atmosphere, reinforces credibility, and affects how people experience a space. We wanted the event to look as strong as the vision behind it felt, and it was a pleasure to play a role in making that happen.
Daniel’s keynote and Our Voice on Stage
Another important moment for us was seeing our director Daniel Nikolla take the stage as one of the speakers at the conference. Daniel’s contribution reflected not only his own perspective, but also the values we hold as a team: clarity, positioning, collaboration, and the importance of building a strong identity in business through marketing, sales and quality communication.
His presence on stage felt especially meaningful because it connected our practical involvement in the event with a wider conversation around growth, branding, entrepreneurship, and visibility. We were not there simply to support the event from the outside. We were part of the conversation taking place within it.
Daniel’s reflections captured the feeling of the day well:
“What we experienced was more than a conference. It was a moment that showed what becomes possible when ambition meets collaboration.”
That idea stayed with many people after the event, and it reflected our own experience too. The conference was not only well attended. It felt aligned. The people in the room were serious about connecting, building, and contributing.
Collaboration with Allsee Technologies

Our collaboration with Allsee Technologies was another important part of the day. From the start, it felt like a partnership that made practical sense. Allsee brought the digital display technology, while we brought the marketing perspective, event understanding, and brand execution. Together, we were able to help deliver a digital signage setup that supported the conference experience in a clear and professional way.
This included the central digital stage screen as well as multiple additional screens positioned throughout the venue. These screens were not only functional. They helped unify the event visually and gave partners and organisers a stronger presence throughout the space. Collaborations like this are especially valuable to us because they show what can happen when marketing and technology are aligned properly. The result is not only better branding. It is a better experience for everyone attending.
Our Collaboration with Laura Shimili Mears Photography

Another part of the event that we were especially pleased to support was our collaboration with Laura Shimili Mears Photography. Together, we helped offer a professional headshot experience for attendees who wanted to refresh their LinkedIn and personal branding photography during the conference.
Personal branding is a real part of business growth, especially in a network-driven environment. Supporting that through a live event activation was something we were genuinely happy to be part of.
Meeting Inspiring People Across the Room
One of the most rewarding parts of the event was the people we had the chance to meet. Throughout the day, our team had conversations with people from a wide range of industries and backgrounds, and many of those conversations felt like the beginning of something larger.
That is often the true measure of a successful event. Not just how many people attended, but how many genuine exchanges took place. In London, those exchanges were everywhere.
It was also clear that the organisers and close team had worked intensely behind the scenes to make the event what it was. The visible leadership of figures such as Hudi Shehu and Emir Allen, alongside the work of people including Klaudio Sula, Aurrel Kondi, Klarita Karaj, Klea Huta, and many others, gave the event both structure and momentum. You could feel the effort that had gone into creating something of this scale.
A Strong Foundation for What Comes Next
The London conference set a high standard. It showed what is possible when people come together with the right energy, the right intention, and the willingness to build something that goes beyond a single event.
For Business Network Albania, it was a strong statement of momentum. For us at Merx Marketing, it was an opportunity to contribute to something important and to do so in a way that felt authentic to who we are and how we work.
What makes this even more exciting is that London was not the end of the story. With the next Business Network Albania conference taking place in Berlin on 27 June 2026, there is already a clear sense that this movement is continuing to grow across Europe. We are pleased to say that we will be there as well, ready to support, contribute, and continue building relationships within this expanding network.
If London was any indication, Berlin will be another important chapter. And we are genuinely grateful to have played a part in this journey so far. See you in Berlin!
