During my work experience at Merx Marketing, I gained valuable insight into the world of digital marketing. I shadowed the founder, helped create social media content, improved my LinkedIn profile, and learned about SEO, email marketing and content creation. The friendly and supportive team helped me build confidence, develop new skills and confirm my ambition to pursue a career in digital marketing.

Volunteering with Merx Marketing on the TOKA x ALSA project showed me that marketing is about so much more than creating “pretty posts.” I helped design a real campaign, learned how strategy shapes content, and saw how every detail—from colours to captions—has purpose. I’ll be honest, when I first walked into Merx Marketing Ltd for my work experience week, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. I’d done my research, and I knew they were one of the top marketing strategy companies in London, offering things like digital marketing, branding, content and SEO but experiencing it first-hand was a completley different experience.
