On Thursday, 5 November 2026, Merx Marketing Director Daniel Nikolla attended the Leading Albanians @ Google event, organised by the UKAP Foundation at Google's offices in King's Cross, London.
The event brought together Albanian professionals, entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts for an evening of networking, knowledge-sharing and discussions about career development within the technology industry.
The evening featured three Albanian professionals working at Google:

Anica Xhafa – Engagement Manager at Google
Enkeleda Mata – Head of Shopping Ads via CSS, gTech EMEA at Google
The discussions explored their professional journeys, experiences in Big Tech and the skills required to develop successful careers within global technology organisations.
For us, the event offered valuable insights into an industry closely connected to digital marketing, innovation and business growth. We work with Google across various digital products and services, such as Google Ads, Google Local Ads, Cloud, Workspace, My Business, and so on - so the evening offered a pleasant environment and answered many questions.
Beyond the presentations, the evening provided an excellent opportunity for Daniel to connect with fellow Albanian professionals, exchange ideas and develop new relationships within London's business and technology communities.
